About Stem 1x Sconce/Ceiling
Glass shaped by hand
The glass shapes of the Stem 1X Sconce/Ceiling are formed by hand, allowing them to be slightly imperfect to express their handmade origins. The “dipped” glass options feature an irregular, open mouth, created by double-dipping the piece into the molten glass crucible, followed by breaking the piece from the pipe and fire-polishing the opening – a purposeful expression of craft and the act of glassblowing. The “textured” glass diffusers have no opening. Their surface is frosted and features a subtle pattern of lines etched into the glass for a moody and classic look.

The Stem 1X Sconce/Ceiling is a basic fixture, to bring an element of quality and expressive design to any locations in need of light. At home on the wall or the ceiling, its small size allows it to fit modest spaces with tight clearances, or it can be added in multiples to hospitality or commercial environments.
