Large domes of handblown Czech glass with a frosted finish are suspended on lengths of oversized brass chains. An exposed fabric-wrapped electrical cord runs through the chain from canopy to light.

Standard chain length is 91 cm. Longer lengths available in 30 cm increments – subject to upcharge that will be calculated automatically. The fabric-wrapped electrical cord will be automatically sized to match the chain length specified.

About Dome Pendant

Frosted glass with a soft look

Frosted glass makes a beautiful light because of its very soft appearance when diffusing light. Even beautiful when off, just capturing the ambient light in a room, especially sunlight in the daytime.

Custom chain

SkLO Partner and Lead Designer, Karen Gilbert, is a trained metalsmith. Unable to find the right chain for the Dome Pendant within the machine-made off-the-shelf chains available, she began a process of fabricating the chain herself. SkLO custom-produces the chain for the Dome Pendants, each oversized link cut from solid brass plate. The synergy between the shape of the chain and the glass domes is what makes the Dome Pendant remarkable.

The right scale

The large size of the Dome Pendant is just the right fit for substantial rooms and large furniture in need of the right scale in a light fixture. Alone or in multiples over islands and tables, the Dome Pendant is also a classic, timeless look for hospitality and commercial projects.
